FusionBuild put on hold…

Yup, it’s true.

I can’t seem to find time to work on it and still keep afloat with school, work, and the military. I hope to come back to this project when I finally get stationed and settled in. Stayed tuned!

Work is definitely keeping me from (er…) working on FB. I have a little break this week so I’m going to force myself to sit down and, um, work.

Some users have brought some things to my attention as well. Things they suggested were:

-Adding the unofficial plugins (ex. Screensaver, Workspace-naming)

-Having the ability to configure CF after installing. Basically, having an option to open up Simple-CCSM or CCSM after installation. That should be fairly easy to implement.

Well, that’s it. FB 0.1b is definitely going to be a code clean-up and bug fix release, but I’ll try to stick some new things in there. I’m still trying to figure out a way to make the “Configuration” button functional, but I’m planning on making FB a Gnome-only and Ubuntu Hardy-only program. If I can figure out how to design using Qt, I might make a KDE version…

Oh, and BTW, I need to add omega to the credits, as his script (a refactoring of KristianL’s) is basically the backbone of FB. I guess we’re all just one big code borrowing family.
